The Pineywoods Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM) chapter exists to further the growth and development of our Greater Deep East Texas HR professionals, and to assist them in becoming effective leaders who can positively impact their company and community.  The primary purpose of this organization is to further professionalism and the knowledge of its members.  Pineywoods SHRM is a chapter of the national Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM).

March 2009

As of APRIL 2009, monthly meeting luncheon rates are $11.50 per person for both branches of Pineywoods SHRM.

October 2008

Kati Harris from Kelly Services in Nacogdoches is spearheading a drive to start a satellite chapter in Nacogdoches. This group will meet in Nacogdoches, eliminating the drive to Lufkin. We will vote on this as a group at the September 23 meeting in Lufkin, so please make every effort to attend.
